I have reviewed the project requirements and it appears as though 48" on center vertical reinforcing will be adequate to support the required loads. No additional reinforcing is required provided that the horizontal reinforcing is installed as specified. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. The concrete contractor has 3 horizontals in the wall and they are 14" to 16" apart. The plans call for 12" apart. Is this going to fly or do I need to have him tighten these up and add a bar. Clearly I have to babysit this guy.
