Mr. Waaraniemi:
Me /0/
It is our understanding that the vertical reinforcing in all footings in the above referenced
project have been placed at 48" on center in lieu of 24" on center as specified. I have
reviewed the project requirements and it appears as though 48" on center vertical
reinforcing will be adequate to support the required loads. No additional reinforcing is
required provided that the horizontal reinforcing is installed as specified.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Sincerely,
David Fulton

David, sorry about this. The concrete contractor has 3 horizontals in the wall and they are 14" to 16" apart. The plans
call for 12" apart. Is this going to fly or do I need to have him tighten these up and add a bar. Clearly I have to babysit
this guy.
Thanks,
Pete Waaraniemi
