Smith , Commissioner Chairman_ Arnold L. Mackley , Commissioner Elmer (BuckeV) Arbaney , Commissioner Don DeFord , County Attorney Mildred Alsdorf , Clerk of the Board Chuck DeschPnes _ , County Administrator when the following proceedings, among others were had and done, to -wit: RESOLUTION NO. 91-002 A RESOLUTION CONCERNED WITH THE APPROVAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION BY JANES AND ANNE PRATT. WHEREZ�S, the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, has received application from James and Anne Pratt for a home occupation on the following described tract of land: See Attached Exhibit (in the State of Colorado and the County of Garfield); and WHEREAS, the Board held a public meeting on the 10th day of December, 1940, upon the question of whether the above-described Conditional Use Permit should be granted or denied, at which meeting the public and interested persons were given the opportunity to express their opinions regarding the issuance of sari Conditional Use Permit; and WHEREAS, the Board on the basis of substantial competent evidence produced at the aforementioned meeting, has made the following determination of fact: 1. That the meeting before the Board of County Commissioners was extensive and complete, that all pertinent facts, matters and j issues were submitted and that all interested parties were heard at that meeting. 2. That the application is in compliance with the Garfield County Zoning Resolution of 1978, as amended. 3. For the above stated and other reasons, the proposed use is in the best interest of the health, safety, morals, convenience, order, prosperity and welfare of the citizens of Garfield County. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, that the Conditional Use Permit be and hereby is authorized permitting the use of the above described tract of land for a home occupation upon the following specific conditions: BOOK 1-796 PAGES 38 1. A Building Permit for the garage addition shall be obtained. 2. All electrical equipment and materials shall be adequately screened. 3. All employee vehicles shall be screened behind the residence and barn. 4. No more than five) (5) commercial vehicles shall be allowed. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said County, at Glenwood Springs, this day of A.D. 19 County Clerk and ex -officio Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners BOOK 796 PAG Su9 CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT James and Anne Pratt In accordance with and pursuant to the provisions of the Garfield County Zoning Resolution of 1979, as amended, and Resolution :No. of the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, State of Colorado, hereby authorizes, by Conditional Use Permit, the following activity: A home occupation on the following described tract of land in Garf.;.eld County, Colorado: See Attached Exhibit. The within Conditional Use Permit is issued subject to the conditions set forth in the above-mentioned resolution, and shall be valid only during compliance with such conditions and other applicable provisions of the Garfield County Zoning Resolution, Subdivision Regulations, Building Code, and other regulations of the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County. NOTE: This permit shall expire 120 days after issuance unless construction or use has commenced within that time period or unless the Garfield County Board of County Commissioners has issued an extens4_on of this permit prior to it's expiration date.
