WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, has received an application from Tom Bradkte, Pastor of the St. Mary of the Crown Parish, for a conditional use permit to allow for approval of church rectory containing three (3) apartments in the A/R/RD zone district; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, held a public meeting on the 7th'h day of February, 2000, upon the question of whether the above described conditional use permit for a rectory should be granted or denied, at which meeting the public and interested persons were given the opportunity to express their opinions concerning the approval of said conditional use permit; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, on the basis of substantial competent evidence produced at the aforementioned meeting, has made the Page I of 3 lliilll!lIII!!Illlill! llilililli Illl!!IIll cilli llilIli 559687 02/24/2000 01:02P B1174 P148 M ALSDORF 2 of 4 R 0.00 D 0.00 GARFIELD COUNTY CO following determination of fact as listed below: That proper notice was provided as required for the public meeting before the Board of County Commissioners; 2 That the public meeting before the Board of County Commissioners was extensive and complete, that all pertinent facts, matters and issues were submitted and that all interested parties were heard at that hearing; 3. That the application is compliant with the Garfield County Zoning Resolution of 1978, as amended. 4. That for the above stated and other reasons, the proposed Conditional Use Permit is in the best interest of the health, safety, morals, convenience, order, prosperity and welfare of the citizens of Garfield County. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, that the St. Mary of the Crown Conditional Use Permit is hereby approved subject to compliance with all of the following specific conditions: That all representations made by the applicant in the application, and at the public meeting before the Board of County Commissioners, shall be considered conditions of approval, unless specifically altered by the Board of County Commissioners; 2. That all applicable requirements of the Garfield County Zoning Resolution of 1978, as amended, shall be fulfilled; That the applicant shall secure an adequate, approved Basalt Water Conservancy District augmentation contract for the proposed use prior to issuance of the conditional use permit; 4. That the applicant shall comply with the Colorado Department of Health regulations.
