HomeMy WebLinkAbout4.0 Resolution 2003-051 111111 11111111111 111 1111111 1111 1111111 111 IIIII 1111 1111 620997 02/14/2003 03:59P 61437 P426 M RLSDORF 1 of 2 R 0.00 D 0.00 GRRFIELD COUNTY CO STATE OF COLORADO ) )ss County of Garfield ) At a regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners for Garfield County, Colorado, held in the Commissioners' Meeting Room, Garfield County Plaza Building, in Glenwood Springs on Monday, the 3' day of February A.D. 2003, there were present: John Martin Larry McCown Tresi Houpt Don DeFord , Commissioner Chairman , Commissioner , Commissioner , County Attorney Mildred Alsdorf , Clerk of the Board Ed Green , County Manager when the following proceedings, among others were had and done, to -wit: RESOLUTION NO. 2003-05 A RESOLUTION CONCERNED WITH THE APPROVAL OF A SPECIAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION FOR AN ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT FOR A PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4151 COUNTY ROAD 117, GARFIELD COUNTY, COLORADO. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado ("Board"), has received an application for a Special Use Permit ("SUP") for an accessory dwelling unit from Don Seaton, for a property located at 4151 County Road 117 within the A/R/RD zone district; and WHEREAS, the Board held a public hearing on the 3'" day of February, 2003, upon the question of whether the above described SUP should be granted or denied, at which hearing the public and interested persons were given the opportunity to express their opinions concerning the approval of said special use permit; and WHEREAS, the Board on the basis of substantial competent evidence produced at the aforementioned hearing, has made the following determination of fact as listed below: 1. That proper public notice was provided as required for the hearing before the Board of County Commissioners and proof thereof submitted in the record; 2. That the hearing before the Board of County Commissioners was extensive and complete, that sufficient pertinent facts, matters and issues were submitted and that all interested parties were heard at that meeting; 3. That the application is in conformance with the Garfield County Zoning Resolution of 1978, as amended; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, that SUP is hereby approved subject to compliance with all of the following specific condition: 1. All representations of the applicant, either within the application or stated at the hearing before the Board of County Commissioners, shall be considered conditions of approval. 2. The Applicant shall be required to amend the current building permit (for the garage) to include plans for the 600 sq. ft.
