This well shall be used in such a way as to cause no material injury to existing water rights. The issuance of the
permit does not assure the applicant that no injury will occur to another vested water right or preclude another
owner of a vested water right from seeking relief in a civil court action.
2) The construction of this well shall be in compliance with the Water Well Construction and Pump Installation Rules
2 CCR 402-2, unless approval of a variance has been granted by the State Board of Examiners of Water Well
Construction and Pump Installation Contractors in accordance with Rule 17.
3) Approved pursuant to CRS 37-92-602(3)(b)(II)(A) as the only well on a tract of land of 36.44 acres described as
lot 10, Sierra Vista Ranch division of land, Garfield County.
4) The use of ground water from this well is limited to fire protection, ordinary household purposes inside three (3)
single family dwellings, the irrigation of not more than one (1) acre of home gardens and lawns, and the watering
of domestic animals.
5) The maximum pumping rate shall not exceed 15 GPM.
6) The retum flow from the use of the well must be through an individual waste water disposal system of the
non -evaporative type where the water is returned to the same stream system in which the well is located.
7) This well shall be constructed not more than 200 feet from the location specified on this permit.

Dear Mark:
This letter is to bring the County up-to-date on the construction already performed for the public
improvements on the referenced project. Currently, all construction necessary for the main access
road has been completed.
The water system has been installed.
The electrical and telephone service lines have not yet been installed to the subdivision. Based on
conversation with the owner, Holy Cross Electric has indicated that the installation of the electrical
lines will be approximately:
All Overhead - $7,500.00
All Underground - $24,000.00
The owner has indicated that he would like to use overhead electric if at all possible. It is my
understanding that this may require another meeting with the County Commissioners to request a
change in the approval. However, to expedite the Final Plat process, the owner has indicatedthat he
will Bond the $24,000 underground cost.
Based on periodic observations of the construction in progress, the improvements noted above have
been completed in accordance with the construction documents approved by the County and Garfield
County regulations. This statement of completion shall in no way relieve any other party from
meeting requirements imposed by contract or other means, including commonly accepted industry
practices.
