I. The 16" diameter ductwork routing feeding the underslab ductwork appears to conflict with both the Footing
F40 and Column at J line between Line 3 and 4. Alternate routing around column and potential footing offset
may be required.
2. There are several areas near the FBO main entry and waiting area where the footings will not have adequate
earth cover for frost protection. Is it acceptable to place rigid insulation on the vertical and horizontal faces of
the continuous footing to protect the foundation?
3. At the shear wall thickened concrete -does the 12" thickness occur only at the shear walls noted at the
dashed line or does it continue all the way to column. A transition to 4" concrete could occur unless full
thickness needed. See S2.00 Line E6.
PROPOSED SOLUTION:
1} Move F40 Footing 1 '-0" to the South.
2) Acceptable, insulation to be R5.6 minimum.
3) 12" Thickness extends full width of existing slab from grid EA to
EB.

Tom-
We've confirmed the gas line size will remain as currently shown (1-1/2") in the 100%CO set, despite the new snowmelt
boiler demand.

Matt-
The new gas service in the hangar to refeed the radiant heaters is starting this week. The pipe and fittings are
onsite. Will the gas line size change with the addition of the boiler to the system? We need to know of any impact today if
possible. Thank you.

RE: Atlantic -Rifle FW: FBO stem wall
As discussed it is acceptable to wet-se t the foundation wall dowels as long as the inspector is present and the alternate
hook orientations are maintained.

Thanks Andy -
We have also placed some insulation on the vertical and horizontal faces of the continuous footing in addition to the stem
wall insulation where we may lack coverage -this was approved by our structural engineer. We have attached the RFI
response to you which includes the direction from our structural.
Thank you.

I believe all is O.K. Jim had some concerns with frost protection for the areas shown with the pictures. It appears the
plans due show fill being brought in to cover these footers and piers. Thanks for the response.

Andy-
Hope all is going well.
We received this from Mr. Wilson this morning on th e FBO project. Respectfully I am not sure what needs to be clarified
at this point -the building location is per approved plans and the foundation is being installed per plan with the exception
of one area at the South which has been dropped to provide adequate frost coverage at that portion of the foundation
relating to the final exterior grades.
