Thank you for taking time to meet on June 12, 2012 in regards to the Parachute Creek Gas Plant TXP-1 Expansion. We discussed the following: Anticipated Project Schedule A. Excavation and screw pile installation in September 2012 B. Foundation work to begin in March/ April 2013 C. Building erection-August 2013 1. Andy Schwaller agreed to issue a foundation-only permit for the permanent buildings. Andy noted that all loads i.e. wind, snow, seismic etc. will need to be noted on the foundation-only permit drawings. We reviewed IBC 2009 section 107.3.3 Phased Approval in regards to issuance of the foundation-only permit. 2. Stairways-Equipment stairways utilized for access to a filter or other piece of equipment that is not part of the egress components of the building, may be designed and constructed to OSHA standards versus IBC 2009. 3. Handrails for egress stairways-These handrails will be designed and constructed to IBC 2009 requirements. This includes treads, risers, handrails, 4" ball rule etc. 4. A grading permit will not be required by Garfield County as this issue will have been taken care of in our review and approval of the Major Impact Review via the Garfield County Planning Department. 5. Con-ex storage units will require a Garfield County building permit as a storage building. Tool trailers that are on axles will not require Garfield County Building permits. 6. Andy Schwaller agreed to extend the 180 day time line for the building permits, if needed, in order to account for the phased construction. Thank you again for taking time to meet. As always, I appreciate the professionalism and willingness of the Garfield County Building Department to coordinate prior to submittal of drawings for building permits. 1 Thank you and please contact me with questions .
