SECT'ION 12, TOWNSHIP 6 SOUTH,
PM, CONTAINING T2.7239 ACRES
Dear Sirs:
Please consider this forrnal ruquest for sui:divisic-rn of at parceJ-of land which we liave owned since April of 1979. The property
is located between County Road 335 and the Colorado River south
and east of Silt, Colorado.
There 1s a total of approximately L2.7239 acres included in the
property which we would like to divide into two single family
homesites by simply bisecting the property north to south.
We have obtained one "in house use" well permit on the property
and have received a second, contingent upon the requested sub-
division. In regard to septic: a system meeti"ng any county,
state or federal requirements would be installed on each homesite.
Access for each site would be servcd by CounLy ltoad 335. Elec-tricity would be furnished by Public Serviee Company and is alsoIocated along County Road 335.
We sincerely hope that you wilI favorably consider this request
since it should create no undue burden on existing services and
would create homesites for two farnil-i"es inst"ead of one. Bc-cause
there is no irrigation water allocated tc-r this parcel of land,
it seems especially desirabl-e to have two tiomesit-es rather than
one very large, dry dusty, weedpatch. It is our intention to sell
one of these sites in order to have t-ire capital Lo build on the
si-te we retain ownershj.p of .

of producing 230 board feet of timber per acre from a fully stocked,
even-aged stand of 4O year old trees.
Some areas of this unit are used for livestock grazing. It
provides shelter and forage where access to these areas is available.
This unit has a definite recroation pol,ent,ia1. Lril.dlife popula-
tions are abrrndant and the nearness to the river make these areas
available to rafting and canoeing enthusiasts.
hrildlife abound in this vegetative habitat. Mule deer, cotton-
tail rabbits, coyotes, bobcats, ducks, geese, and other native birds
are r.reIl adapted and use the native vegetation for food and shelter.
Where it is fr-.asib1e, deyelopment of foocl p1ots, trce and sltrub
planting, and establishment of nesting cover woufd enhance the habitat
for upland game.
fn areas of perennial high water table, open r.rater may be

Community development is very limiLed on this unit. Plooding,
