Thank you S.P. (Pat) Simpson Original Message • From: Harry Garner <garner_harry@msn.com> To: "sps@sterlingconstruction.net" <sps@sterlingconstruction.net> Cc: Harry Garner <garner_harry@msn.com> Date: April 11, 2017 at 6:00 AM Subject: Building Permit Pat - I took the project to the county building department yesterday. Unfortunately, the Chief Plans Examiner (David Bartholomew) that I have always worked with has retired and there is a new Plans Examiner (David Argo). He was not available but the Administrative Assistant remembered the project. She confirmed that a building permit would be required, so I submitted the project for Building Permit. Attached is a copy of the Building Permit Application and the fee estimate for the permit. I paid the $100 permit review fee. The permit fee will be adjusted when the construction cost is determined and the balance will be due at the time the permit is issued. I signed the permit application for you so we could get the project in. The Admin Assistant, Lindsay Krol, said that she will need a letter from you authorizing me to sign the application for you. The letter can be e-mailed to 1krol@garfield- county.com. Or you can go into the building department and sign the application. David Frommell with Sherman & Howard called yesterday to check on the progress. He requested that a copy of the permit application be sent to him so he can show the judge and apposing attorney that progress is being made. I did not want to send him anything until you approved it. So, if you want him to receive a copy, would you forward the building permit application on to him? Also attached is my invoice and the invoice from Steve Kesler. My invoice includes reimbursable prints and the plan review fee I paid when submitting the permit application. While putting together the invoice I could not find a signed copy of our agreement. I remember you saying you were e -mailing it but I can not find it. Could you please re -send me a signed agreement? My insurance requires it. I am out of town Tuesday and Wednesday but will have my cell phone and computer with me if we need to talk or e-mail. Harry 1
