Subject: Habitat ReStore - Permit #BLCO-03-17-4605
Bill:
Wanted to check in with you regarding the new Habitat ReStore project located at 7025 Highway 82 to see if you have
received a copy of the building permit drawings submitted to our office (dated March 3, 2017).
I've previously talked with both Steve Novy & Dana Della Betta about the need for them to submit plans to you for
review, and wanted to follow-up to see if you have any particular concerns. Please let me know back if there's anything
we need to be aware of, as we expect to finalize our review of these plans in the next couple of days.
Thanks for your assistance —
Dave Argo

In that case, I think the hydrant should be removed.

It's tied to an 8" DIP line that runs back to the well per the original civil design- but the pump is not nearly
adequate to serve a hydrant (I think it pumps 15 gal/min). I think to really function it would need to be tied to
a storage tank, even then I don' t know how the well could regenerate in a sufficient way we'd have to fill it
with a tanker truck which is how we plan to fill the storage tanks tied to the sprinkler system.
Thanks,
Dana

Dana,
I reviewed the drawings and I have no issues at this point. I think that it would probably be best to remove the
hydrant. Were you able to confirm whether or not the hydrant is actually connected to any kind of tank or water
supply?

Subject: ReStore
Hi Bill,
I wanted to check in to make sure you received the drawings I dropped off a couple of weeks ago for the new
ReStore facility? I know you likely won't comment on the system design until the Sprinkler contractor submits
for that- but any initial comments on the information in the drawings?
How would you like us to treat the hydrant that was put in the Cul De Sac during original
development? Should that be tagged to be clearly inactive or should we remove it and cap the line?
Thanks,
Dana
