Dear Ms. Beard,
The Design Review Committee has approved your final home plans for lot D5, dated February 21, 1997.
Upon receipt of the $1,000 application fee and N3,000 for the Builder's Bond, final stamped plans will be
released.
In order to expedite your permit approval with the County, we have agreed to allow you some additional
time to finalize some of the items we previously outlined in our letter to you on February 14, 1997_ More
specifically they are as follows:
1. Colors need to be finalized on all exterior finishes for submittal and review by DRC.
2. More attention is needed to the landscape plan as it relates to the front entrance.
3. Please review the planting schedule and indicate what plant sizes you intend to use. The quantity of
spruce specified is fine, but everything else needs to be increased. Deciduous trees should have at least
a 3" caliper.
4. Please submit irrigation plans consistent with your final landscape design.
5. The landscape design now indicates the location of decks and patios around the spa area; however, no
detail of the elevations above grade or design of the spa have been attached. Please submit details for
these items. Additionally, the DRC is to review with the Glenwood Ditch Company what, if anything,
will be allowed to be constructed in the ditch easement thus, the need for these plans is critical.
Please submit the above information by April 2, 1997.
If you have any questions, please fell free to contact me or any other member of the Design Review
Committee.

In order to understand the scope of the work intended ander a permit application and expedite
the issuance of a permit it is important that complete information be provided. Adequate and
cornplere information will prevent delays in the plan review process. Reviewing a plan and the
discovery that required information has not been provided by the applicant may result in the
delay of the permit issuance and in proceeding with building construction. The owner or
contractor may be required to provide this information before the p]an review may proceed This
causes delays because other plans that are in line for review may be given attention before the
new information may be reviewed after it has been provided to the Building Departruent.
Please review this document to determine if you have enough information to design your
project and provide adequate information to facilitate a pian review. if you do not, it may
be helpful to obtain a book titled "Dwelling Construction under the Uniform Building
Code". This book is available to you through this department at our cost. Also, please
consider using a design professional for assistance in your design and a construction
professional for construction of your project.
To provide for a more understandable p]an in order to determine compliance with the building,
plumbing and mechanical codes, applicants are requested to review the following check list prior
to and during design. Applicants are require to indicate appropriately and to submit the
