CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES:
I observed the forms and reinforcing steel for the foundation stem walls. The forms and reinforcing steel had been placed for the
foundation of the building.
DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS:
It was observed that the assembled rebar substantially conforms to the engineer's plans. lt was observed that the column base plates
were on site and were to be placed at the time of the pour. Contractor was instructed to place additional vertical rebar at southeast
corner where the rebar spacing fell outside of design tolerances. Contractor instructed to adjust corner rebar at northwest corner to
meet proper clearance of I %" minimum from outside face of concrete to edge of rebar.
This report is based on our site observations, research of available records, and experience with structures of this type in this area.
Our obàervations were limited by the presence of backfill, finish materials, and physical constraints. Unseen defects or conditions
may exist that could affect the structural integrity of the structures observed. The observations, interpretations and conclusions herein
have been conducted to the standard of care ordinarily practiced by other engineers in this area at this time. No wananÇ is made,
express or implied.
