When reviewing a plan and it's discovered that required information has not been provided by the applicant, this will result in the delay ofthe permit issuance and in proceeding with building construction. The owner or contractor shall be required to provide this information before the plan review can proceed. Other plans that are in line for review may be given attention before the new information may be reviewed after it has been provided to the Building Department. Please review this document to determine if you have enough information to design your project and provide adequate information to facilitate a plan review. Also, please consider using a design professional for assistance in your design and a construction professional for construction of your project. To provide for a more understandable plan in order to determine com pi iance with the building, plumbing and mechanical codes, applicants are requested to review the following checklist prior to and during design. Applicants are required to indicate appropriately and to submit the completed checklist at time of application for a permit. Tht!l visit was c:onducted on October 12. 2006. Below is a brief description ofthe resid~nce and our observations . The resid'::!ntial structure consists primarily of 1 double wide HUD modular over a basament. Ap~roxi mate exterior dimensions are 25 feet by 40 feet. The basement walla are cs&t•in-place concrete . The! modular units are supported between the exterior walls of the basement by S" deep wide flange beams spanning in the short direction which are supported also in the center1ine of the span by pipe columns. I The basement remodel consists of partitions and an acoustical ceiling. The layout divides the spar;e into a large family room on the south and bedrooms on the north, plus a bathroom and utility room 011 the west. All walls ;re non-load bearing. The wall between the family room and bedrooms divides the spabe In half and coinoides with the nne of the columns supporting the beams, but the bearing of the colun'ins Is not affected, as the partitions are held down low. Therefore., the structure was not affaeted by the partitioning ofthe basement It does not appear thet there are any structural Issues of concern to be addressed related to the remodel .
