ALLOWABLE UNIFORM LOADS, psf
For various fastener spac¡ngs
I . Theoletical section properties have been calculated pel AISI 2012 'North American Specification for the Design of Cold-Fonned Steel Str uctural Membets'.
Ixx and Sxx are effective section properlies for deflection and bending.
2. Allowable load is calculated in accordance with AlSi 2012 specifications considering bending, shear, combined bending and shear and deflection. Allowable
load considers thc 3 or rnore equal spans condition. Allowable load does not addlcss web crippling, fasteners, suppot material or load testing. Panel weight
is not considered.
3. Deflection consideration is limited by a maxirnum deflection ratio ofL/180 ofspan.
4. Allowable loads do not include a I /3 stress increase for wind.
