BMC F Pad, Township 7S, Range 95W, Section 8, Garfield County, Colorado
The BMC F pad will consist of temporary tanks and up to two diesel -powered pumps to assist with
moving the fluids around the field and to transfer fluids between the tanks as needed to support the
completions activities. Due to the up gradient location of the pad, the size of the pump for transferring
from pad to other pads, the size of the pumps are limited to 4 and 6 cylinders, respectively. The
anticipated pumps are listed below:
1. Transfer pump from tank to tank on pad. Caterpillar 4 -cylinder engine.
2. Transfer pump from pad to other locations in Battlement Mesa. Caterpillar 6 -cylinder engine.
These pumps are anticipated to run during transfer operations. The decibel levels for each of the pumps is
less than 50 dBA at 350'. The pump will have additional shrouding and sound mitigation in place further
reducing the overall impact. Pumps will be strategically placed with the mufflers and engines towards the
center of the pad and be turned off when not in use. Pumps will be placed on the inside of the pads with a
row of tanks on the perimeter. The tanks will provide another level of sound mitigation.
Ursa will monitor the noise generated on the BMC F pad and will make adjustments and add mitigation
as needed. At this point, Ursa does not anticipate pumps to exceed residential noise standards listed in the
COGCC 802 regulations.
