A tract of land located in lot 1 (NW aNW' Section 18, Township 6 South, Range 93 West,
6th P.M. and the NE;NE;. Section 13, Township 6 South, Range 94 West 6th P.M.,
described as follows: Beginning at a point whence the Northwest corner of said Section 18
bears North 20 °07' West 254.89 feet, thence South 04 °33' East 250.16 feet, thence South
57 °31' West 450.87 feet, thence South 09'17' West 510.73 feet, thence North 88 °23' East
443.69 feet, thence South 88 °28' East 316.02 feet, thence North 20 °53' West 488.28 feet,
thence North 09 °22' West 120.83 feet, thence North 07 °16' East 422.93 feet, thence South
88 °53' West 176.35 feet to the point of beginning, containing 9.64 acres more or less.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Construct a metal building to house natural gas compressors. Building is of 4 "X4 "X box
beam construction. Sheeting is 10 gauge sheet steel. Doors are steel, skylights are
plexiglass. Building is designed to withstand 40 pound per square foot snow load and 30
pound per square foot wind load and wind gusts to 80 miles per hour.

Dear Mr. Owens:
Enclosed please find the above referenced building permit application. Also enclosed
please find check number 8652 in the amount of $795.30, representing the $313.30 plan
review fee and the $482.00 permit fee. The building is to house a natural gas compressor
at Questar Pipeline's property located approximately two miles west of Rifle, Colorado. A
special use permit was approved for this project at the meeting of the County Commission
on November 20, 1995.
Construction of the compressor and pipeline authorized by the special use permit is
scheduled to begin immediately. We have scheduled construction of the building to begin
the week after Christmas. 1 would appreciate any help you could give me to expedite this
