PRELIMINARY DESIGN CALCULATIONS
LODGE SYSTEM
1.Projected Flow = 5025 gpd.
2.Design Flow = 5360 gpd
3.Field Percolation Rate = 24 min. /inch
4.Min. Soil Absorption Area = 5360,/24/5 = 5,250 sq. ft.
6.Min. Sand Absorption Area = 5360/0.95 = 5,640 sq. ft.
6.Proposed Absorption Area = 60' x 94' = 5,640 sq. ft.
7.Required Setback from River = 50' + (4360/100) x 8 = 400 ft.
8.House Septic Tank Volume = 1000 gallons
9.Lodge Septic Tank Volume = 4866 x 30/24 = 6,080 gallons
STORE SYSTEM
1.Projected Flow = 2025 gpd
2.Design Flow = 2025 gpd
3.Field Percolation Rate = 9.6 min. /inch
4.Min. Soil Absorption Area 2025,/9.6/5 = 1,255 sq. ft.
5.Min. Sand Absorption Area 2025/1.15 = 1,760 sq. ft.
6.Proposed Absorption Area = 36' x 50' = 1,800 sq. ft.
7-Required Setback from River = 50' + (1025/100) x 8 = 132 ft.
8.Min. Septic Tank Volume = 2025 x 30/24 = 2,530 gallons.
