Summary of Mineral Interest Research for 140 Apache Drive, New Castle, CO 81647
(Section: 25 Township: 5 Range: 91 Subdivision: ELK CREEK DEV. Block 7 Lot: 1A)
Mineral interest research was conducted per the suggested process in the Memorandum from County
Attorney’s Office dated June 24, 2014. The following is a summary of the process referencing the
numbered steps outlined in the Memorandum:
1. The current ownership deed for 140 Apache Drive, New Castle, CO, 81647 was shows no
reservation of mineral interests or exceptions to the title.
2. The title insurance policy lists no exceptions to the title.
3. Upon visiting the Garfield County Assessor’s Office, with the assistance of Robin, it was
determined that Assessor records show no active or inactive mineral interest reservations in our ¼
section, township, and range.
4. Upon visiting the Garfield County Clerk and Recorder’s Office, with the assistance of Beverly,
the legal description of the property was researched t0 the beginning of Elk Creek Development
and no deeds for mineral interest were found.
5. Beverly with the Clerk and Recorder’s Office determined that no Notice of Mineral Estate
Ownership was filed for this property or any others in this Section, Township, and Range.
Tasks 6 and 7 were not performed due to the results of the research summarized above.
