In accordance with and pursuant to the provisions of the Garfield
County Zoning Resolution of 1979, as amended, and Resolution No. 85-150 of
the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado; State of
Colorado, hereby authorizes, by Special Use Permit, the following
activity:
'
A mobile home as a principal use of a lot for a period of 5 years,
(expiring on August 1, 1990)
on the following described tract of land in Garfield County, Colorado:
See attached legal description: Exhibit A
The within Special Use Permit is issued subject to the conditions set
forth in the above-mentioned resolution, and shall be valid only during
compliance with such conditions and other applicable provisions of the
Garfield County zoriing Resolution, Subdivision Regulations, Building Code,
and other regulations of the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield
County.
NOTE: This Permit shall expire 120 days after issuance unless
construction or use has commenced within that time period or unless the
Garfield County Board of County Commissioners has issued an extension of
this permit prior to it's expiration date.

Subject: Building permit status at 0277 County Road 227, Rifle
Dear Woolsey:
It has come to my attention that the Single Family Dwelling Unit located at the above address has
not had an inspection within the last 180 days or has not had a final inspection and a Certificate of
Occupancy has not been issued by Garfield County.
A permit (#4768) for construction was issued on May 21, 1993. There have not been any
requests for inspections as of this date.
The UBC (Uniform Building Code) and other codes adopted by Garfield County require the
following:
1. Construction under a permit issued by this department must be commenced within 180
days of the date of issuance in order for the permit to remain valid.
2. Work authorized under the permit cannot be suspended or abandoned once begun, for a
period of more than 180 days if the permit is to remain valid.
3. The Uniform Building Code as adopted by Garfield County require the requesting of a
final inspection by the owner or contractor and completion of a final inspection by this
department prior to the occupancy of the building.
I am requesting and it is required that you contact this department regarding the status of this
project within fifteen (15) days of the date of this letter. Thank you for your cooperation and if
you have questions please give me a call.

Dear Steve,
It appears that the following items need to be completed in order for you to call for a final
inspection;
L Cover paper vapor-barrier on all fiberglass insulation, OR remove paper vapor barrier.
2. Ensure that all posts and beams have positive connections top and bottom.
3. Proper handrails and h>uardrails must be installed on all stairs and decks, interior &
exterior.
4. Install a hard wired interconnected smoke detector in the living room.
Steve, since you are already living in the home without the benefit of a Certificate of
Occupancy, we would appreciate it if you would please get these items completed as quickly as
possible, and call for a final inspection. Please call us if you have any questions regarding getting
this project finalized, please give me a call. Thank You.
