PETITION FOR EXEMPTION
Pursuant to C.R.S. (1973) Section 30-28-101 (10) (a) -(d) as amended, and
the Subdivision Regulations of Garfield County, Colorado, adopted September 1,
1972 and amended April 14, 1975, Section 1.02.17 (d) and 3.02.01 the undersigned
respectful ly
petitions the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, to
exempt by resolution the division of 5, 3 G/ acre tract of land into
tracts of approximately 3 . 3 `" — acres each, more or less, and
which tract to be subdivided is more particularly described as follows:

from the definitions of "subdivision" and "subdivision land" as the terms are used
and defined in C.R.S. (1973) Section 30-28-101 (a) -(d) and the Garfield County
Subdivision Regulations, for the reasons stated below:

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
A two (2) acre tract of land lying South of the County Poad and being
situated in Lot 3 of Section 31, Township 6 South, Range 94 West of
the Sixth Principal Meridian and in the Northeast quarter of the
Southeast quarter of Section 36, Township 6 South, Range 95 West of
the Sixth Principal Meridian, and described as follows:
Beginning at Corner No. 1, the intersection of the East—West quarter
line of said Section 36 and the Westerly right—of—way line of the
County Road, whence the East quarter corner of said Section 36 bears
East along said East—West quarter line a distance of 30.0 feet;
thence South 9°31' East along said Westerly right—of—way line of said
County Road 614.2 feet to Corner No. 2, a point on the South right—of—
way line of the County Road;
thence North 80°43' East along said Southerly right—of—way line 57.5
feet to Corner No. 3;
thence South 6°40' East 510.78 feet along the Westerly right—of—way
line of said County Road to the true point of beginning;
thence continuing along the 'Westerly right—of—way line of said County
Poad South 6°40' East 235.72 feet to a point on the Southerly line of
said Lot 3;
thence Westerly along said Southerly line of said Lot 3 and the
Southerly line of said Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of
said Section 36 a distance of 369.76 feet;
thence North 7°48' West 236.31 feet;
thence Easterly 374.47 feet to the l!esterly right—of—way line of a
County Road, the place of beginning, and containing 2.00 acres.
