Box 2082 Edwards, C081632 Dear Susie: LKP ENGUEERIHG INC RE: Inspection of Septic System Installation 7W Guest Ranch -Storage Barn 3412 County Road 151, Garfield County, Colorado Project No. 05122 -ISDS Permit No. 4062 PAGE 03 At the request of Fem Boucher with Vision West ConsCruction, Inc., on August 30 and September 8, 2005, we visited the construction site on 7W Guest Ranch -Storage Barn, 3412 County Road IS I, Garfield County, Colorado. The purpose of our site visit was to observe the installation of the septic system. They installed the system in overall compliance with the septic system design, Drawing No. 05122SD.DWG, dated July 20, 2005, and as shown on the attached as-buih sketch. They installed a 1000-gallon, three compartments, prccast, a concrete, septic tank. In the last compartment of the septic tank, they installed a Zoeller Model 267 Pump. Each of the three access openings, had risers on il A clcanouts was installed between the building and the septic tank, as shown on the sketch. The cffiuent line from the pump tank to the fint infiltrator of the top tmJ.ch was a total distance of89 feet. The effluent line was 3-inch diameter sch40 pvc. The pump was sized to have four doses with 62 gallons per dose. The pump dosing. the floats function and the alarms were tested on September 8, 2005. The alarm was installed in the barn on the east wall, near the southeast comer. FoUJ1eell, Standard Infiltrator Chambers were installed in three trenches, as shown on the attached sketch. The south (upper) trench had five infillrators and it had a perforated pipe suspended from the top of the chambers. The next trench had 5 and the lowest trench had 4 infiltrators. The infiltrators were connected with serial distribution. In the first and last infiltrator of each trench, inspection ports wete installed. Horizontal distance ftom center to center of the trenches, was 9 feet or more. The depth of the trenches was no more thm 36 inches. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.
