Box 2107 - 606 S. 9th St. - Grand Junction, Colo. Special Use: To extract materials to build roadway from materials pit designated as the Dalrymple Heavy Riprap Pit. This Special Use Permit is in compliance with Sections 4.03 and 7.03 of the Garfield County Zoning Resolution and as per application. Building Permit No. (if applicable): N/A This Special Use Permit is hereby granted , (state whether granted or denied) subject to compliance by applicant with all statements, representa- tions, provisions and conditions set forth in the application and also subject to the following conditions: 1. Traffic Control: Upon passage of the resolution submitted by the Division making the prima facie speed limit 30 mph (10 and 15 mph advisory signs to be used) on the county road in ouestion, the Division agrees to sign and post this road accordingly; the Colorado State Patrol agrees to patrol this road during the contractor's operations. The contractor agrees to arrange a meeting prior to beginning operations involving the truck drivers selected to use this road, interested people along th road, and the Division of Highways' personnel to discuss the hazaris that exist along this road. 2. Said roads are to be left in as good condition as existed prio- to haul. 5. Existing Gate Maintenance: The Division shall require its contractor to maintain existing gates on County Secondary Road 325 as necessari during the haul to protect livestock_ 6. Dust Pollution Control: The Division agrees to use Emulsified Asphalt as a dust palliative in residential areas as needed. 7. Irrigation and Utility Protection: The Division agrees to adequately protect and/or replace any irri- gation structure subject to damage during the contractor's hauling operations. The Division also agrees to examine all irrigation structures Prior to beginning operations in anticipation of replacing and/or repairing before operations begin in lieu of avoiding inter- rupted irrigation flow. 8. Traffic Respect: The contractor will be required to respect the rights of citizens using the county roads with regard to the movement of livestock and farm machinery. The contractor will not be permitted to haul when the county road is being used by the school bus. 9. Use Restrictions: Haul will be permitted during daylight hours only.
