DESCRIPTION OF INSPECTION WORK PERFORMED: Special inspection for field welding of threaded anchors to
embeds at base plates / foundation slab and installation of high-strength A325 bolted connections at structural
steel connections as required by the 2015 IBC, structural engineer and local building jurisdiction.
LOCATION IN STRUCTURE: Special inspection provided for work performed to erect / field Install structural steel
pre-engineered metal building package by ICON Building Systems as designed by Nangia PE (structural
engineer). All structural steel erected with A325 bolted connections through main level through roof.
REMARKS FOR STRUCTURAL STEEL All welding was performed by certified welders employed by Myers and Co.
using approved materials and processes in accordance with AWS D1.1 / AISC specifications as designed by
structural engineer Nangia PE. Structural steel beams and columns for pre-engineered metal building package
fabricated by ICON (AISC approved fabricator) and erected by Rocky Mountain Steel Structures using A325 High-
strength bolts (turn -of -nut tensioning as required by AISC). Mill certifications for steel elements reviewed and
kept on file by fabricator.
REMARKS GENERAL: Special inspection on this project was performed per the special inspection requirements
adopted from the 2015 1BC by the Garfield County Building Department as part of the approved plan.
ALL WORK REFERENCED ABOVE VERIFIED BY INDUSTRIAL INSPECTION SERVICES PERSONNEL, PERFORMED
THROUGH OCTOBER 27th, 2017 WAS SATISFACTORILY COMPLETED AND CONFORMS TO THE APPROVED PLANS,
THE 2015 INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODES (IBC), THE ADOPTED PROVISIONS OF THE AWS D1.1 AND THE AISC
MANUAL OF STEEL CONSTRUCTION (9TH EDITION). THIS STATEMEN PPLIED DIRECTLY TO THOSE PORTIONS OF
