Wanted to get back to you following our phone conversation a couple of days ago. After looking over your "Google
Maps" site plan, I think this will satisfy our minimum requirements.
One item l'd like further clarification on is what is the distance between the new residence and the existing shed located
closest to it? (immediately east) . . . Other than clarification of that dimension, I think what you have submitted will
work.
Thanks for your inquiry & we'll contact after reviewing and when permit is ready to be issued

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the response regarding our site plan. The distance you asked about from the shed to the house will
be a minimum of 28 feet. Sorry about that, it is kind of hiding on the site plan. Please let us know of anything
else we need to clarify.
We appreciate you looking at it for us beforehand.

I have now completed my review of plans for O'Connell's new residence located on County Road 331 near Silt, but
before we can issue the permit there are a couple of items that we need to receive a response from you including:
o Soils Report - Can you please forward a digital copy of the soils report by HP-Kumar as referenced in drawings?
o Minimum Roof Snow Load - The Engineer calls out a 30 PSF snow load (Sheet Fl) but Garfield County's
minimum snow load requirement is 40 PSF. Can you please have your Engineer verify that foundation design will
comply with 40 PSF? You can simply have him send an email directly to me confirming this.
As soon as we have these 2 items addressed we'll be able to issue the permit.

Thanks for sending over the soils report. I will go ahead & issue the building permit, but we still need to receive
confirmation from your Structural Engineer verifying that foundation design will adequately support the 40 PSF snow
load requirement prior to foundation inspection and this requirement is redlined on your set of plans.
you should be receiving a call from the ladies at the front desk with instructions for permit pick-up and final balances
due.
