General Contractor shall obtain approval of subgrade by Geotechnical Engineer prior to placement of concrete footings. 11. The drawings and specifications (i.e.; architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.) are complimentary. Items shown in one location in the drawings shall be considered to be requirements of the contract for construction. In the event of a discrepancy between the drawings and specifications, or between different diciplines, the contractor shall seek clarification or interpretation from the architect. Where inconsistencies are not clarified prior to bidding the contractor shallprovide the better quality or greater quantity of work. 12. Plumbing fixtures and fittings shown and specified on the Drawings provide the "Basis of Design" for plumbing system additions and alterations. Plumbing Subcontractor shall design and provide all drain, waste, vent and supply piping in accordance with governing Codes and local best practices. Plumbing Subcontractor shall determine best methods for extending existing sanitary and domestic cold water supply to the proposed additions and alterations. Subcontractor shall submit for Architect's review and approval manufacturer's submittal information for all fixtures and fittings.
