AKS -S-01 p.m. WEATHER: Sunny TEMPERATURE: MINIMUM 60°F MAXIMUM 93°F PRECIPITATION: Light rain SUMMARY OF OBSERVATION ACTIVITIES: General Status of Construction: Contractor's rebar sub -contractor has installed rebar for the exterior column foundations and exterior strip footings. Items Observed: Alex checked rebar sizes, spaces, and dimensions of footings in addition to the spacing of footings and checked against conformed drawing set and metal building drawing set. Figure 1 South East Footing Figure 2 Detail 5 Footing Alex checked sections of footing where existing pipes conflicted with footing layout; the contractor has provided adequate reinforcing and foamboard to distribute building loads around existing pipes. PAGE2 Figure 5 Portion of South West footing bearing on duct bank, this corner will be cut out so the footing will not bear on the duct bank General Conformance with Contract Documents: General conformance. The contractor has followed instructions for revised footing layout per addendum 4 Gridline 1 footings were not included in conformed set. Alex confirmed contractor has exterior footings installed along gridline 1. Issues/Concerns: Contractor asked Alex about extension of stem wall dowels into 8" building curb. Alex confirmed that, currently, the stem wall dowels were not extending into the 8" curb. Rebar sub will add extensions into building curb where noted on the drawings, prior to pouring stem walls. Summary of Conversations (names, titles, topics, questions, responses given, etc.): Alex discussed pour day cleanup items with the contractor, removing loose soil in several sections of the footing, replacing doobies under sagging bar, removal of trash/ cans in footing strips.
