As requested, personnel of RMG - Rocky Mountain Group reviewed the Construction Materials Testing and
Special Inspections report by Huddleston-Berry, dated September 28, 2017, Project No. 0l 157-0002 and the
Reinforcing Steel Observation Reports by Huddleston-Berry, Project No. 0l157-0026, record numbers lR,
2R,3R,4R, 5R,6R, and lRW (attached). Based on these reports, it is our opinion that the foundation
footings, walls, and reinforcing has been completed in general conformance with the above referenced
foundation plan and foundation modification, with the exception of all interior, isolated pad footings. It is our
understanding the pad footings will be placed at a later date.

As requested. Representatives of l{uddleston-Beny Engineering and 'Iesting, LLC (HBET)
arrived on site periodically to conduct reinforcing steel inspection for the basement perimeler
foolings, the basement walls, the rawl space, garage and patio perimeter footings and thc crawl
space, garage and patio walls.
Periodic inspections lbr ttre subject project are cornplete lbr all the walls and {botings with the
exoeption r:f the interior isolated pad footings. The other exceptions havc bccn correcled and or
accepted by the engineer of record. T'hc inspections fiir the subject project meet the pnrject
requirements to the best of our knowledge.
Clontinued inspection for the interior pad footings shall be conducted at a later date,

Dear Lawrence,
A lepresentative of Huddleston-Berry Engineering and Testing, LLC (HBEl) observed the foundation
excavation and tested the soil compaction on May 9,2017, and observed the Reinforcing Steel for the
Basement Perimeter footings on June 2,201'l " and the Basement Perimeter walls on June 19, 2017,
Periodic testing for the subject project is cornplete and any exceptions have been corrected. The open hole
inspection indicated that the subsurface soil conditiolrs on the lot are consistent with the referenced repoft.
'l'herefore, based upon the recornrnendations in the refererrced reports, results of the open hole inspection,
and results of the field density testiug, the subglade is adequate for foundations conslructed in accordance
with the refelenced repoft using an rrraximurn allowable bearing capacity of 3,000 psf.
