Box 916 GLENWOOD SPRINGS, CO 81602 Enclosed please find the Building Permit Application for ADU and documentation supporting this Application for an ADU that was installed in an existing barn on the property in 2007. In support of this Application, I enclose the following: 1. Signed Single Family or Duplex Building Permit Application Checklist; 2. Property Owner's Certificate of Compliance, Accessory Dwelling Unit; 10- 3. 3. Signed Building Permit Application; `v Q 4. Proof of access to the site via private access easement; and 5. Well Permit and Basalt Water Conservancy District Contract for proof of legal and physical water. As to the OWTS system, there is a separate septic tank for the ADU. B&R Septic has maintained the system and has historically pumped 1,000 gallons from the tank. This system has a design flow below 2,000 gallons and therefore does not require CDPHE site approval. The ADU only has one bedroom, and therefore the tank is in compliance with County sizing regulations. Since the barn in which the apartment was constructed was a pre-existing permitted structure, the section of the permit requiring building plans, site plan, architectural plans and OLSZEWSKI, MASSIH & MAURER, P.C. Also, there is no attached or detached garage for the ADU, but there is ample parking outside of the structure given the fact that the property is over five (5) acres.
