ln accordance with and pursuant to provisions of the Garfield Coun$ Land Use and
Development Code, as amended, and the Director's Decision Letter dated October 17,
2018, the Director of the Community Development Department hereby authorizes the
following activity:
A Solar Energy System, Small shown on the site plan attached as Exhibit "8"
(GAPA-08-18-8668)
This Administrative Land Use Change Permit is issued subject to the conditions set forth
in Exhibit uC" and shall be valid only during compliance with such conditions and other
applicable provisions of the Garfield County Land Use and Development Code, as
amended, Building Code, and other regulations of the Board of County Commissioners
of Garfield County, Colorado.

(Conditions of Approval, pg. 1 of 1)
Conditions of Aoproval Prior to the lssuance of a Land Use Chanqe Permit:
.1. All representations of the Applicant contained in the application shall be considered
conditions of approval unless specifically modified by the Director's Decision.
2. The operation of the solar facility shall be done in accordance with all applicable Federal,
State, and local regulations governing the operation of this type of facility.
3. The applicant shall complete any reclamation activities as indicated in the application,
4. No lighting is permitted on the site in association with the project.
5. Signage around the perimeter of the facility warning of electrical shock shall be installed.
6. Electrical infrastructure shall be appropriately maintained to prevent any potentialwildfire
hazard.
7. The applicant shall comply with any Holy Cross Energy requirements for connection to
the electric grid.
8. Any unintended glare issues shall be subject to mitigation acceptable to the Communi$
Development Director.
9. The applicant shall abide by Garfield County and State of Colorado noxious weed
requirements.
