Patrick,
ln regards to Condition G of the peregrine Solar Farm's land use change permit application, pertaining to the Grand River
Ditch Company's comments on Russian-olive, Vegetation Management staff (myself and Sarah LaRose) did meet with
board members (Lee Roy Cheweleski, Brent Petersen, and Scott Fields)of the Grand River Ditch Company on March 28,
2018 at the Cheweleski Pipe and Supply shop.
The Ditch Company expressed their concerns about Russian-olive removal along the ditch on the hillside above
Peregrine and on Roger Day's property to the north of Peregrine.
County staff did discuss the Russian olive treatment process. lt was emphasized that the cut-stump treatment method is
utilized and the roots are left in place.
Ultimately, the Ditch Company did indicate that they would not oppose treatment on either the Peregrine or Day
properties.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Steve
