Other factors such as soil type, climate and precipitation can also influence infiltration and drainage rates. Alkalinity >92 mg/L Bicarbonates and carbonates can clog the nozzles of pesticide sprayers and drip tube irrigation systems and reduce the activity of some pesticides.
