Verification of Snow/Wind Load Requirements — Garfield County's minimum building requirements include a 40 PSF snow load and 11.5 mph wind speed per the 2015 I.R.C. There is no indication on the submitted plans that the proposed manufactured unit complies with these requirements. Clayton Homes is well aware of these minimum requirements and they should be able to provide you with the appropriate information to submit to us. Another option is that we will accept a photograph taken of the Manufacturer's sticker placed inside the unit — if it clearly verifies compliance with these requirements. In either case, we must receive verification of these items before we can issue your building and septic permits. B. 25 -Foot Rear Yard Setback — The new structure must be placed a minimum distance of 25 -feet off the rear (southern) property boundary line, and we will require that you provide our Inspector with a lot improvement survey as stamped by a Colorado professional licensed Surveyor verifying compliance with this setback requirement at the time of concrete inspection. As soon as we receive verification of the structural requirements described in item A above, we will be able to issue your building and septic permits. Please contact me with any questions. Thank you — Dave Argo Plans Examiner Garfield County Community Development Department 108 8th Street, Suite 401 Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 Tel: 970-945-8212 Ext. 1610 Email: dargo@garfield-county.com Web: garfield-county.com 1
