After discussion with building official I filled out and laminated placards for Unsafe buildings including a
business card. I was onsite at approximately 10:20 AM and I stopped at 189 Mosher first. There was no
one present at this location. I posted the placard on the center window of the bay door clearly visible
from the road. I proceeded to take several pictures. The settling and racking of the structure was
apparent without any measurement tools.
I proceeded to 39 Mosher. I was met at the door by a man claiming to be the new owner. I introduced
myself and explained why I was there and what would need to be addressed by him. I explained to him
that I was unaware of a change of ownership and that the building was supposed to be vacant. The man
said he would be in contact with an engineer he knows, Adolfo by name, and would have the engineer
make a site visit to address the concerns of the building department. I made my farewells to the man
and took several pictures and moved on to Scarrow.
At 268 and 278 there was no one onsite, but the doors where open. There are approximately 12 to 15
vehicles parked next to 278 and other materials on the property. I placed plarcards on both 268 and 278
center bay windows and then took several pictures. The degradation of 278 is visible on the west side
due to 3" to 4" gap in the building. It was apparent by tracks in the snow and the lights being on that the
building has been used recently.
