Lindsay, Andy, and Dave,
Thank you for alerting us to this application. Our understanding of the project, after
speaking to the architect, is that new appliances will not be added to the system at this
time. While this drywell would not be allowed under current regulations, we do not feel we
can force a new design and system at this time. The project consists of adding a new
ingress/egress door, and potentially some interior walls, as we understand this phase of
construction. The architect indicated that a future phase may include a new kitchen and/or
bathroom. At that time, we will require that a new system be designed for the property. We
do recommend that the existing system be evaluated/inspected by a qualified
engineer/contractor. Please contact us if you require further information, or if you have
questions.
