The services were performed in accordance with our agreement for professional engineering services to you, dated September 26, 2019. At the time of our visit to the site, two profile pits had been dug to a depth of about 8 feet below the adjacent ground surface at the approximate locations shown on Figure 1. The logs of the pits are shown on Figure 2. The soils exposed in the pits, below about 11/2 to 4 feet of topsoil, consisted of clay loam with scattered gravel. The results of a gradation analysis performed on a sample of the loam obtained from Pit 1 are presented on Figure 3. No free water was observed in the pits and the soils were slightly moist. THE EXPLORATORY PIT LOCATIONS AND ELEVATIONS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED ACCURATE ONLY TO THE DEGREE IMPLIED BY THE METHOD USED. 5. THE LINES BETWEEN MATERIALS SHOWN ON THE EXPLORATORY PIT LOGS REPRESENT THE APPROXIMATE BOUNDARIES BETWEEN MATERIAL TYPES AND THE TRANSITIONS MAY BE GRADUAL. 6. GROUNDWATER WAS NOT OBSERVED IN THE PITS AT THE TIME OF OUR SITE VISIT. 7.
