Garfield County Public Health 108 8th Street, Ste. 201 Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 RE: Colorado Energy System – Office/Shop 1140 Devereux Rd, CO OWTS Permit No. SEPT-04-19-5702 BUI #19001,01 To Whom it May Concern: The purpose of this letter is to review the construction of the Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) for the Colorado Energy System’s Office/Shop building constructed at 1140 Devereux Rd, Glenwood Springs, CO. Boundaries Unlimited Inc. (BUI) reviewed the septic tank, dosing pump, excavation, imported sand filter medium, and the distribution piping components of the OWTS construction on the following dates. Jan 23, 2019 Percolation tests & profile hole evaluation April 1, 2020 Verified traffic rated 1,500 gal concrete septic tank installation April 3, 2020 Verified excavation size – Sands & gravels encountered at 8’ depth April 4, 2020 Tested imported sand filter material (in place) (Weigh tickets & gradation analysis attached) April 8, 2020 Review distribution piping & gravels, verified bed elevations June 2, 2020 Verify dosing pump & control operation & sand filter bed backfill. Based on the above site inspections and tests, the OWTS appears to have been installed in conformance with the intent of the design and the current Garfield County Code. Please find attached a 24”x 36” pdf drawing of the completed construction noting actual installed components. Final ground surface grading will be completed during landscaping.
