I sent the watershed application and drawings to the e-mail he gave me on 10-07-20. Email bounced back. I sent one to the Rifle main public works e-mail, and it bounced back as well. Just sent one yesterday and it bounced back. Have tried 5+ times, but cannot get a person to answer the phone - not sure what I can do at this point. We need to have those also submitted, if not by the steel building manufacturer's Engineer then by a local Structural Engineer. I will discuss the watershed permit issues with Andy. I know this particular subdivision has water supply issues, and I'll let Andy make the call as to whether or not your permit application to City of Rifle addresses the Plat Note requirements. It's not your fault if you cannot get anyone to respond to your inquiries. Finally, I did get an email from Orrin Moon, and you're good to go on that front, although we will still require a final approval letter from Orrin prior to final building inspection & Certificate of Occupancy. Otherwise, it's erroneous information and we don't look back through our email or phone conversation to track conversations — we have to rely upon drawings as submitted to our office. Before you provide us with updated drawings, please make this change so that the submitted plans match up with the property owner's intentions. Once we receive the updated plans we should be able to finalize our review and issue the building permit within a few days' time. He said we will come in for a separate permit if he decides to do that. Evidently his forman is wanting more in the building than John does.
