Please be advised that pursuant to Section 4-101.1. of the Garfield County Land Use & Development
Code the Community Development Director has authorized a 90 day extension of the deadline to
satisfy the conditions of approval for the Brown 2-Unit Dwelling, File # GAPA-06-19-8734. The result
of this time extension is that your new deadline for completion is now Dec. 9th, 2020. A copy of this
email will be place in the project files as documentation of this extension.

Rob Classen was working with you to help me get this approval for the 2 unit dwelling. This is the
email I got from him last year.
I am writing to you to request an extension. We have been working on this project throughout the
year. The drawings and engineering are done. I am just not quite ready to submit the building permit
and I know that we are getting close to the expiration of the approval.
I am very close though.

The Planning Director has approved with conditions the Brown 2-Unit Dwelling request. Please find
attached the signed Directors Decision letter which details our findings, conditions of approval and
next steps. The Directors Decision will be forwarded to the BOCC for their review and decision of
calling the application up for their review if they so choose. The call-up period ends September 21,
2019. Please contact me if you have questions.
