Legal Access. A Building Permit cannot be issued without proof of legal and adequate access to the property for purposes of inspections by the Building Division. Other Perm¡ts. The structure is a prefabricated modular that I inspected earlier this week. This family needs to get this structure repaired so that they can move back in. At this time, we need a demo permit to remove finishes and begin repairs by replacing the burned timbers with new timbers to match the existing. Only the roof will be repaired with l-joist rafters instead of with prefabricated mono trusses that exist. I will also be recommending an LVL ridge beam to meet snow load. I will personally be observing this work, so please call if you have any questions. James J. Romeo, P.E
