On May 25, 2021, we visited the Ryan Residence at 165 South Meadow Drive near Rifle
in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS)
installation pursuant to OWTS Permit # SEPT-6856. At the time of our site visit, the contractor
had installed the sewer line and cleanout that will be located next to the proposed shop, a new
1,000-gallon septic tank and the chamber trench. The septic tank and chambers were installed
level, with access to the tank brought to grade. The chamber trench consisted of 15 ADS ARC
36 chambers for a total STA of 225 ft2. In our opinion, this system was installed in general
conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield
County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit.
