Visual and a pressure test of the gas lines would be a good idea. The electrical, sewer and water lines should also be inspected where they enter the home. The critical areas are the points the utilities enter the structure due to the settlement of the ground around the home and the subsequent foundation repairs to lift the home back to its original elevations. Maybe getting the electrical, water and gas suppliers out to do a safety check of their lines before the gas and electrical meters would also be a good idea. The permit we have for the structure is to repa¡r the foundation submitted by the then owners Neuvirth in 2017 with follow up in 2021. The follow up in2O21, involved an engineer to review the f¡le supplied by the owners. lt is a through review of the reported work but does not include a site visit by the engineer to verify the actual conditions today. A visual inspection by the engineer was requested on 2-I2-2O2L to verify the work done in 2OI7 . I will include the engineer's letter with this email in case you have not seen it. We can do a final inspection once the engineer does his inspectionaspartoftheusualsequenceofthings. Anyquestionsregardingtheelectricalsupplywouldbepartofastate inspection. Let me know if you have any questions or comments. Looking back at all my notes and emails from various Garfield County employees, I noticed the email you sent 2lll2l,you state that possible some of the utilities might have been damaged during the foundation work. I am living in the home and everything seems to be working. Our water does taste funny and we stopped drinking the tap water. Maybe it's connected. We did not get an infection on the home, should i get one now? Most importantly, will you or someone from you department actually come to the property for an inspection. I was told in the beginning by the listing agent, Tobb Ambrose that I would be getting a call from your department to schedule an inspection. Let me know if that is still going to happen, it seems like it should. Thank you for your time in this matter. Rochelle Schoppert 818-5 t5-0023
