I arrived on-site at 12:30 PM. I met with lvlr. Matt Kauffinan with lr¡usiclr Built construction, Inc. to review project requirements and materials ready for inspection. The welder qualification test reports (WQTR) were reyiewed, and all were observed to be acceptable with project specifïcations. Copies of reports are on file with Mr. Ken Pennington with Musick Built Construction, Inc. Visual welding inspection was conducted on the perimeter angle ñllet welds and the bar joist fillet welds for the mezzanine. I observed the perimeter angle welded to the f¡amework using 2" welds on 12" centeß and that the perimeter angle was welded to make it I continuous piece. I observed the bar joists were welded oá each end with a minirnum weld of I t/z'".lJpon completion, I observed all fillet welds to be in compliance with project specifications and the visual welding requiremenrs of the Aws Dl.l; Structural Welding Code-Steel: 2015 Edition. Anchor bolt inspection was conducted around the perimeter columns. f observed3Á" all'thread epoxied into the concrete pads. All bolts for this project are required to be "snug tight"' I inspected all a¡rchors with a r¡nench for the co¡rect-tensioning. Upon completion, I observed all anchors to be in compliance with project specifiJations. High strength bolt inspection was conducted on the main building. I observed all bolts to be ASTM A325 plain body bolts with a hardened flat washer properly positioned under the turning surface of a hearry hex nut. I observed the bolts for ihe r-uít"t eonnections to be I" while the larger connections were I 118" bolts. With Mr. Kaufman assisting, I inspectcd the main member bolts for project tensioning requirernents. Duringmy inspection, I observed approximately 3 bolts that were not tight. Mr. Kaufmanrepaired these immediately under my direct observation. Upon cämpletion, I observed allbolts !o be in complilrye with projeôt specifications an¿ the inspection criteria of theAmerican Institute of Steel ConnectionlASlC) Research council on Bolted Connections(RCBC).
