BICO-O9-20-6489 John Blatz Big R Commercial Park - AMENDED P1ANS Status
Update
Here's the scoop as best I can trace.
Receípted Sept 2020; issued early Nov 2020.
Dave Argo original revíewer.
Matt was on job site first % April2O2L and directed them to resubmit drawings reflecting as-built changes the added
mezzanine level.
4-15-2-21, Contractor dropped off plan sheets with Brooke the following day, and very capably moved them my roll plan
bin.
4-20-ZA27l consulted with Andy and sent out l'tcorrection emailto Kurt Carruth architect, builder, Summit AE
structural engineer.
Kurt C. responded a few days later, but no structural updates.
5-7-202t Colleen sent 2nd email to project team requesting confirmation on mezzanine framing plan status
5-tO-202L Kurt C. responded Summit AE still workíng on it and will submit once available.
5-tg-2021. Colleen still holding ORIGINAL APPROVED PLANS and AMENDED PLAN BLUEPRINTS on desk, waiting on
structural engineer.
FYI - lt appears the high strength bolting special inspection report and state electrical ínspector reports have been
added to the file folder circa 4-2L-202L. Special inspector documented bolting in the mezzanine. Loose bolt
corrections were made with special inspector present.
As I am stíll waiting to finish review of the AMENDED PLANS, I can add Orin's (fire dist) comments onto AMENDED FIELD
COPY /CONDITIONS. I am, however, concerned work may be continuing on the job site without the AMENDED PLANS
in hand, and depending upon your thoughts and input may be worthy of considering making a stop by the job site to
keep them informed. Orin's email chain shows a reference to JOHN, so I trust that was direct communication with John
Blatz building owner.
On my end, I could reach out to Summit AE to check on progress of preparing plans, but they may just be that busy and
overloaded right now. (ln a nut shell, the AMENDED PLANS are incomplete, under review and not reissued.)
Thoughts?
