At the time of our site visit, the contractor had installed the new sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the residence, the new concrete 1,000-gallon two- compartment septic tank, the new effluent line, the distribution box, and the three rock and pipe beds. The septic tank and distribution box were installed level with access brought to grade. An effluent filter had been installed in the outlet tee of the septic tank. The gravel beds were level, with 4-feet between the beds. The gravel was clean, washed gravel and the distribution laterals were 4” diameter sewer pipe. Additionally, inspection ports were present at each corner of the beds. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit. Please provide an As-Built drawing of the system, when available, for our files.
