At the time of our site visit, the contractor had installed the new sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the residence, the new poly 1,000-gallon two-compartment septic tank, the new effluent line, the distribution box, and the rock and pipe bed. The septic tank and distribution box were installed level with access brought to grade. An effluent filter had been installed in the outlet tee of the septic tank. The bed was level, with three laterals with orifices holes drilled as specified. The bed consisted of clean, washed gravel as specified in the design. Additionally, inspection ports were present at each corner of the bed. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit. Thank you, Edward R. “Ted” White, P.E.
