Jim Wilson did a site visit to your project in Silt, CO. lt appears you are moving right along with your site prep. We have
also reviewed a recent soil report. Please note the following items must be addressed prior to any foundation work for
the manufactured home:
L. The foundation plans need to be amended to reflect the over excavation and additional structural fill placement
under the proposed footers as per the soil report. The soil engineer needs sign off on the final subgrade prior to
pouring any concrete for the footers.
2. The cut bank along the upper portion of your property appears to be very steep and not stable. Please have a
civil engineer review and provide a report.
3. lt is important the final drainage off the property down stream to your neighbors does not change from what
has historically drained onto their property. You could be liable for any damages from runoff. Please have the
civil engineer provide a drainage report with any corrections to the drainage included.
Getting the foundation and site drainage correct is first step in the site preparation to get the project done
