At the time of our site visit, the contractor had installed the new sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the excavation for the residence, the new poly 1,500-gallon two-compartment septic tank, the new effluent line, the distribution box, and the four chamber trenches. The septic tank and distribution box were installed level with access brought to grade. An effluent filter had been installed in the outlet tee of the septic tank. The chamber trenches were level, with 4-feet between the trenches. Two of the trenches consisted of 15 Quick4 chambers per trench, with the other two consisting of 7 Quick4 chambers per trench (44 total, 528 ft2 total STA). Additionally, inspection ports were present at each end of each trench. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit. Thank you, Edward R. “Ted” White, P.E.
