OWTS Permit #: SEPT-7215
December 13, 2021
Matthew,
On December 3, 2021, we visited the site of the residence under construction at 7315
County Road 312 near New Castle in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS
installation pursuant to OWTS Permit # SEPT-7215. At the time of our site visit, the contractor
had installed the new sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the residence, the new poly 1,500-
gallon two-compartment septic tank, the new effluent line, the distribution box, and the six
GeoMat™ trenches. The septic tank and distribution box were installed level with access
brought to grade. An effluent filter had been installed in the outlet tee of the septic tank. The
GeoMat™ trenches were level, with 4-feet between the trenches. The trenches consisted of
about 60 linear feet per trench (1,080 ft2 total STA). Additionally, inspection ports were present
at each end of each trench. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance
with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. Please submit an As built of the system when
available. No further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required
regarding this permit.
Thank you,
