At the time of our site visit, the contractor had installed the new sewer line, the new cleanout adjacent to the building, a new 1,500-gallon two-compartment septic tank, the new effluent line, the distribution box, and the four gravelless chamber trenches. The septic tank and distribution box were installed level with access brought to grade. An effluent filter was present in the outlet tee of the septic tank. The chamber trenches were level. Two of the trenches consisted of 15 Quick4 chambers per trench, one consisted of 14 Quick4 chambers, and the last trench consisted of 16 Quick4 chambers for 60 total chambers (720 ft2). The difference in number of chambers per trench was due to the presence of a tree in one of the trench alignments. Additionally, inspection ports were present at each end of each trench. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit. Please provide an As-Built drawing of the system, when available, for our files.
