At the time of our site visit, the owner had installed the new sewer line but needed to add a cleanout adjacent to the residence. The new poly 1,000-gallon two-compartment septic tank was installed level with access brought to grade but needed to replace a 90-degree elbow with two 45-degree elbows at the septic tank inlet. An effluent filter had been installed in the outlet tee of the septic tank. Photos were later sent showing the installed cleanout and the two 45-degree elbows at the inlet of the tank. The trenches were level, with 4-feet between the trenches. The trenches consisted of 15 Infiltrator Quick4 chambers per trench (45 total chambers, 540 ft2 total STA). Additionally, inspection ports were present at each end of each trench. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. Please submit an As-built drawing of the system when available. No further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit.
